Climate change can affect US Security |

I was surprised to read this report from US intelligence agencies as to how far they think the effects of climate change will impact on their security levels. Basically they're saying that the deterioration of governments in some parts of the world due to harsher living conditions will be behind unrest, which in turn will create potential hotspots ripe for the breeding of terrorism. It's all theory, which they did stress.

In the place where I live in in India, recently a day was celebrated when the married ladies pray before the banyan tree for the safety and happiness of their husbands and family....what was unique this time was as many were praying for the well being of their husbands a few group of ladies prayed for the well being of the tree itself and planted banyan tree saplings....
I liked the idea of mingling local culture with an environmental cause...

An initiative brought about by The Climate Group named "Together" which has been ongoing in the UK encourages businesses and consumers to do their bit to combat climate change. It's now spreading to further shores and has signed up companies in America such as Dell and Target.

In the city i live in India...world environment day is being celebrated in a big way by the film archives of India....they are organising a 4 day film festival concentrating on movies that have a focus on the environment....

There were 2,700 people from 104 countries that logged onto Kluster's compter system and they got together to brainstorm a new incredible
product. They were given only a few guidelines on the size and materials and then they were to decide what to create.
They designed a board game based on 'Climate Change'. They developed a deck of cards filled with questions, came up with the name, logo, and even the marketing strategy.
