I understand what you are saying. I do believe in the Bible it has brought me healing and made me think positively. However I also respect the views of everyone even if they are different to mine. People have a right to believe in what they want to and I respect that. I think we do need to do something about climate change before it is too late. We all need to take action.

I agree that this transcends the argument of God or nature. The fact of the matter is we have to work to remedy things. I don't think earthquakes are man's doing... anyway. Whether you believe God gave us responsibility and tools to remedy our situation, or you believe that science is getting us to this point, it needs to be done. We all need to make the effort.

I completely agree with you Sally. Climate change is a real issue that affects everybody. If we don't so something about it we could all face terrible consequences. It is time that the world takes climate change more seriously it is all too easy to turn a blind eye, but the truth is we are all in danger. There is no point in acting when a disaster has already happened and saying we should have done more. We need to act now before it is too late. We are already seeing changes to the climate and we are getting warning enough so to make a change. It is easy to bury your head in the sand and pretend it isn't happening, but we cannot do this. Too many people say we harp on about climate change, that we are making a fuss about nothing. It is all around us though, it is easy to see the damage we have caused and it is time to make the change.

I totally agree with you that more attention needs to be paid to the climate chances and how they are effecting the whole world. Especially if there are reasons we can fix that could help with this problem. The sad thing is that people don't tend to worry about it until they actually start feeling the effects of it. Then it is almost to late.

The Bible says there will be wars and rumors of wars. And that's the beginning of sorrows, BUT THE END IS NOT YET. Earthquakes, floods, fires, violence all increase, but it's not the end yet. People have stated with a certainty about the end coming, but it's still not here.

I am afraid you are mistaken about prophecy. The book of Revelation was only a commentary on the times when the book was written. The symbology had to be put into place because the Roman Empire was putting Christians to death with disturbing regularity. John was speaking of Nero when he was speaking of the beast, the numerology used was also speaking of the times and the danger to Christians. Basically he was speaking of the Christian communities all over the known world; and that when the Roman Empire fell, which was obvious but also wishful thinking, the Christians would be the replacement.

As to what Sage said that it is nature is correct. The reason we are more cognizant of weather is that we have 24-hour news stations and the internet that can report, photograph, and transmit scenes from all over the world. That makes it much more immediate and troubling. Think about it, if a week after the earthquake in China, there was a little blurb in the newspaper about it, and no pictures. This is the way the news was in the days before cable TV and the world wide web, and it would be a shame, but you wouldn't feel the immediacy of it. Having it in your face in living colour several times a day, and it seems very immediate.

I feel that we are also in the last days as the Gods prophecy. What can we do you asked? Learn who Jesus is and what he can do for you. Jesus is the
way, the only way, to everlasting life.

I think everyone is in agreement about being in the last days. People who don't think this way normally are thinking about it now. The final thing to happen will be " for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea" Isaiah 11:9.

You know, this board isn't about religion. It's about the climate. Leave religion out of it! If that's what you want to believe, fine. But you don't need to be quoting here. It could offend some people. We can't do anything about our past, but I believe we were given the ability to change our future. So, let's try and figure out how to change our future.
