Well Gordon Brown certainly sounded as though he knew what he was talking about when he spoke that statement.

So you didn't really like Gordon's speech about saving you from disaster. I like the last one you had better. No one debates like you guys. I have a libertarian channel that as all of the UK debates. They are dressed impeccably with suit and ties. And well mannered as they disagree with you.

This would be a good way to get people on the right track -- not counting on farmers entirely is one way to avoid getting hit as hard. I think a lot of this is indeed alarmist but it's still worth thinking about.
