I agree I really don't think that this will but a stop to anything. It is just people venting themselves, and I think everyone knows this.

But is "venting yourself" wrong? Is this an effective way to state one's views about an issue? What would be a more effective way of communicating? What would you suggest?

I don't always think that it is always wrong. I think that how aggressive you get when doing it.

How do you protest climate change? You can't stop it from happening.... OK, maybe I need to look at the clip...

Hopefully, they think, that there will be coverage on the news about it. I don't know if that happens without people getting their heads busted....

Well, of course you can't change what is going on with the weather and all the changes in our earth but you can show your concern in pacific ways, not sure a protest might help.

There are different ways of expressing our feelings and opinions about certain issues and I believe that things like what is being discussed in this thread is happening in a lot of places around the world. It's sad that there are leaders who seem to be deaf and blind when things like these happen. At the end of the day, what really matters is what our leaders do to help us address issues at hand.

I think that there are better ways of making people aware of this. Protesting does not always get good results.

Well I don't think a protest was the appropriate action in this case, but it definitely can be successful at times.
