I live in a block of apartments that has a huge flat roof. I'm sure it could be used for Solar? Does anyone know of anywhere that's put in solar on a large scale like an apartment block? Has it given any savings given the huge cost to get started?
I think you need to consult a company which provides these solar panels because not all areas are suitable for these solar panels. Moreover, you need rewirings and connections to your main supply.
You'd be best off contacting your landlord if they own the entire building and bring information regarding cost-benefit plans for solar paneling to them. They may want to implement the project and if you have the project lain out to them there's a good chance that they'll go through with it.
There may be tax incentives the landlord can take advantage of. Perhaps your suggesting that possibility would give him the incentive to at least check things out.
