so what's the oddest things you've seen that claims to be carbon neutral?

There's a pub in sydney near the uni that claims to be Australia's only carbon neutral pub!

You can buy carbon 'credits' for just about anything these days! I can't wait until there is more regulation to stop these shady companies selling you carbon offsets for everything under the sun!

I think the person who coined the idea of carbon offsetting actually did the world a great disservice as it's become acceptable to do whatever damage you like, so long as you plonk down a large enough monetary sum to 'offset' it.

I totally agree. I was listening to a radio program about it this week and from what they said some of these carbon offsetting companies have some very dubious practices, and the way they treat the 'little people' who work
with them seems unnecessarily harsh. It gives the whole thing a bad name.

THis is hilarious! I hadn't seen any of these things either but lo and behold I went to the store and there were serveral beers among other items that said they were carbon neutral. Now that it is has been brought to my attention, I'll keep an eye out for the most bizarre item.
