I agree Green-Moo, but the problem is for an ordinary person like me it is very hard to tell which ones are the 'baddies' because their publicity can be very convincing. We can't necessarily rely on governments to tell us because they have been taken in by some dubious schemes too.

Well, I for once don't believe in buying any carbon credits on a "personal" level. I believe that is a scam. On the other hand, fines to companies that are over polluting I think is necessary. I hope that somehow people will realize that there are ways of scaming and the best you can do is recycle yourself, and try as much as possible to not pollute!
