I would not know how to calculate it even if I knew what it was. Would you mind explaining what my carbon footprint is?

I wish I had the link handy still but searching "Personal Environmental Footprint" on Google should bring some results. I calculated mine once last year and once the year before but cannot remember. I'm below average but still have too high of a footprint as far as I'm concerned.

This is an interesting poll. My answer was between "have calculated it and forgotten" and "calculated and currently offsetting." I'm not doing enough to reduce my footprint, but change takes time.

If you just google carbon footprint, there are tons of calculators. The more detailed ones help spark ideas of changes you can make! I remember one of them I used in the past showed how many trees it took to offset my (and my children's) carbon footprint each year.

I have never really thought of this before. In fact, I think this is the first time I heard about this. Or maybe, I heard of this before but did not really gave it a thought. I wish to learn how to do this.

I have heard the term but I honestly was particularly interested in finding out what it meant - much less calculate it.

I'm now more than a little bit interested and am going to look it up.

OK, so who has found their results because of this thread? If you have calculated it, did you think of any ways to reduce your footprint?

My goal is to recycle more and plant more trees.

I heard about the term before, but I actually never calculated mine. I guess mine would be very bad, because even though I do a lot to be green, I am a frequent flyer, and that alone is a lot of negative points I guess.
