Default Looking for website

I heard that there was a website where you could input various things about your lifestyle and get an estimate of the size of your family's personal impact on the environment? A measurement for your carbon footprint, so to speak. I can't seem to find a link to a site like this. I'm thinking that it would be helpful to convince the family if I could show them what all the "little" things we change can have a big impact.

Carbon Calculator is one for the UK.

I'm in the middle of developing one for this site which I hope will be far more detailed and helpful than the ones already available. I'll be sure to post about it when it's finished.

Do you think it makes much of a difference that that one is UK based? I can't wait to see what you develop for this site. I'll be watching for you to release it. I think this will be a very nice resource as more and more people join and become active in the community. I love your template for the boards, by the way...very nice.

The one at carbonfootprint.com has multiple countries. I'm not sure how accurate it is, but the fact that is has so many countries makes me optimistic. When I went through it was pretty detailed.

This is the first time I have even heard of any websites like this, but I do love the one which Purple linked to.

I haven't had the chance to look through everything there yet, but I imagine that it should be very useful for me and others.
